On Democracy Day, President Bola Tinubu announced the Institute of Petroleum Studies, Kaduna will now be the General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua University of Geological Sciences and Engineering Technology. He said the upgrade recognizes Yar’Adua’s role in Nigeria’s shift from military rule to democracy and his push for national unity.
